Chapter History

Chapter History

The Eta Theta Chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma was founded in 1998 at Gustavus Adolphus College. Since the founding of our chapter we have worked hard to develop perpetual bonds of friendship, while helping our women achieve a high standard of conduct, and have good character.

As a chapter we have socials with the other sororities and fraternities on campus. Some examples of socials are karaoke night, Mardi Gras social, and many more!

We have sisterhood events where we get to hang out with our sisters, whether its watching a movie or grabbing a bite to eat we always have fun together! We also have the opportunity to have sisterhood events with the Epsilon Rho Chapter of Sigma Sigma Sigma at the Mankato State University campus.

We have philanthropy events to benefit the Robbie Page Memorial Fund for the Tri Sigma Foundation, that goes to funding play therapy for children with terminal illnesses. Our philanthropy events also benefit the March of Dimes that goes to funding research to understand prematurity, infant mortality, and birth defects.
